Spring 2025 Bay Area Youth Pan-African Dance Conference

African Diaspora Youth Dance Fest—It's a conference, dance, music, and community event —a one-day immersion to move your body, let your spirit soar, feel the beat, and make new friends!

• Event designed for families to come together and celebrate our rich heritage. Parents and siblings please plan to come and share in the joy of our live performance at 4pm

• 11:30 AM | African Dance for Early Learners (Ages 3-5) - A FREE joyful 30-minute class led by Ms. Leslie Carter, helping young children develop motor skills, coordination, and rhythm through dance and cultural storytelling. Sponsored by the African Queens Dance Company.

• Separate Afternoon Sessions for High School Students - The second half of the day features advanced-level classes tailored for high school dancers, offering a deeper dive into technique, choreography, and cultural expression across multiple dance styles.
